In less than twelve hours a video reached 10.000 visits on the web, a number that has been multiplying over the hours. It started from an initiative of few young people of the archdiocesis of Madrid who wanted to thank in this way Benedict XVIth for his years of pontificate.

One of the promoters, Pablo Larrocha explains: “Upon hearing the news of the resignation of the Pope, a news so unexpected, I though that we young people had to do something to show the Pope that we are with him, that we are his sons and daughters, and that we will always stand by him. We love him!” Together with Chechu Garcìa Fuentes and Bruno Contreras the project spread and it was decided to involve, via video-conference, some young people from other nations and continent. Miguel Angel S. del Moral, Iziar Francin, Pilar Munoz, Elena and Javier Contreras helped being other ‘engines’ of the initiative. The feed back has been spectacular. The video, subtitled in English and Spanish, is the global thank you of the Catholic young people and families to the Holy Father Benedict XVIth for his tireless guide, for his commitment, for his Gospel message of truth spread incessantly.
