On 14 May 2011, Bishop Josef Clemens, Secretary of the Pontifical Council for the Laity, attended the Plenary Assembly of the German Catholics’ Central Committee (Zentralkomitee der deutschen Katholiken - ZdK), held in Erfurt (Germany). He gave a talk on the topic: “World Youth Day in Madrid. Work in progress at the Pontifical Council for the Laity” (“Der Weltjugendtag in Madrid. Aktuelle Themen des PCPL”).
