On Friday September 26, 2014 pope Francis received in audience in the Clementine Hall all the participants to the General Assembly of the Focolare Movement, who gathered in Castelgandolfo from September 1st-28, 2014. In agenda there was the election of the new President of the Work of Mary (Opus Mariae), the Co-President and their collaborators. Maria Emmaus Voce was confermed for a second mandate of six years. Jesùs Moran Cepedano, a Spanish focolarino priest, is the new Co-President.  During the assembly the new challenges were discussed, and guidelines were drawn to define the future activities until the next General Assembly to be held in 2020.
